Job Description
Highly creative and respected advertising agency seeking a Strategy Director to join their team. The strategy group at this agency plays a pivotal and esteemed role as a partner for clients: they shape the agenda and vision for brands, deliver cultural insights to ensure profound relevance, guarantee that creative work aligns with strategy while being groundbreaking and disruptive, establish the communication principles that steer media choices, and ensure the brand is integrated into the most fertile and share-worthy conversations. The Strategy group represents the department where audience and channel truly converge. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Executive Creative Director, other Creative and Account leads, and report to the Managing Director and will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's thought leadership agenda and key strategic initiatives, frequently collaborating with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.
Given the agency’s client portfolio and ongoing projects, international experience (especially in Spanish-language markets) is an advantage, and some exposure to the U.S. Hispanic market is a necessity.
This is an on site, in office position located in Southern California. Relocation assistance available.

Job Requirements
To be set up for success in this position, candidates should have the following skills and qualifications:
- 8 + years of agency experience required; with deep knowledge of international markets/assignments and/or with U.S. Multicultural audiences.
- A track record of innovative thinking that leads to unexpected, genuinely creative work.
- Culturally attuned, agile, inspired, and resourceful in gathering information.
- Clear and effective communicator – verbally, visually, and in writing.
- Conviction in your thinking, complemented by an open-minded approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward, and acting swiftly.
- Willingness and comfort in doing business in an environment with fluidity between English and Spanish, both internally at the agency and with clients.
