Reporting to the President and CEO, the Business Development Lead would be the day-to-day lead on agency new business, managing RFI, RFQ and RFP responses and pitches. You will be helping to lead strategic discussions, developing briefs and presentations, analyzing research and anything else necessary to make the agency successful in their new business efforts. Seeking a candidate that can bring a fresh perspective and point of view to the existing new business program and someone who can assist in creating the agency annual marketing plan.
***NOT REMOTE*** Position will need to be based in Nashville, TN with time spent in office on a hybrid basis.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working in a creative agency environment focused on business development
- Solid understanding of branding, planning, positioning and creative strategy
- Experience generating new leads and responding to RFIs and RFQs
- MUST have advertising/marketing agency experience to be considered
- Strategic thought leader that can inspire agency team members to go above and beyond to consistently help win new accounts
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a working knowledge of marketing research and a ability to glean critical insights that become key components in successful new business opportunities
