Title: Paid Search and Feeds Manager
Our client, a growing digital media agency is seeking a Paid Search and Feeds Manager/ Supervisor. This is a player-coach position. We’re looking for a motivated individual with experience or interest in performance digital planning and buying. As part of the small, growing team, you’ll need to bring both hands-on skills and a positive attitude to the role.
The Supervisor will oversee junior team members and support digital media campaigns. You should be proficient in search, product feeds, with an understanding and curiosity for social, and programmatic platforms, with experience in client and campaign management. Collaboration with both internal and external partners is essential.
This is a hybrid role and there is no formal cadence of days employees need to be in the office, but they do like to try to meet at least 1 X per week in the Chicago office to collaborate.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee junior staff, including Digital Planners and Assistant Planners.
- Oversee daily tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (e.g., pacing, trafficking, QA, creative swaps, A/B testing, reporting).
- Ensure quality assurance for all campaigns.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
- Refine digital operations processes for error-free deliverables.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Analyze data trends and implement improvement solutions.
- Support new business pitches with tactical recommendations.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve campaign performance and workflows.
- Oversee and implement campaigns to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage day-to-day media plan performance.
- Act as a “player/manager,” balancing delegation with hands-on involvement.
- Build relationships with vendors and partners.
- Meet with sales reps to evaluate media tactics.
- Manage client relationships and lead presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- 4-6 years of experience in performance media, with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of paid search and shopping feed management, including feed management platforms.
- Experience in additional media channels is a plus (e.g., Social, Commerce/Retail Media Networks, Affiliate).
- Expertise in relevant buying platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, Skai).
- Familiarity with digital ad operations and tracking tools like Google Analytics.
- Experience managing direct reports (1-2 years minimum).
- Bachelor’s degree or related coursework preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills for campaign setup, delivery, and optimization.
- Experience managing multiple projects/project management software and deliverables- Asana is a plus.
