Paid Social Practice Lead

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The ideal candidate will drive Paid Social media strategy solutions for clients, and possess in-depth knowledge of client's business and the market challenges they face
  • As department head, build, grow and maintain a Paid Social discipline.
  • Coordinate with third-party partners to launch sponsorship, seasonal and influencer campaigns
  • Implement and measure all Paid Social media campaigns across agency client portfolio
  • Pioneer new ideas/ practices across clients/ internally
  • Develop and nurture relationships with platform partners (Pinterest, Google, Amazon, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Create an environment that encourages creative thinking and problem solving
  • Maintain relationships with senior level management with clients and publishers
  • Effectively present ideas or solutions internally/ externally
  • Actively promote outstanding communications skills throughout agency and mentors others
  • Identify opportunities for our brand portfolio to capitalize in the areas of storytelling, media, technology and data to deliver successful content programs
  • Proactively support development of employees to enhance skills and reach their full potential
  • Work cross-functionally with management team, Creative, Strategy and Account Directors and departments
  • Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives
  • Act as key client contact and lead business stakeholder in Paid Social, synthesizing information related to opportunities and risks to our senior management team

Requirements:

  • BA or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of Paid Social experience or related media planning experience
  • At least 4 years managing a team and demonstrating the ability to train and grow junior members as a reliable mentor
  • Track record of building winning teams and client case studies
  • Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business
  • Experience in content partnerships and publisher/ client joint business plans, programmatic and audience-based planning and buying
  • Ability to command attention and manage group dynamics through effective communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid financial acumen and business expertise
